About us

The Negba Association – Children and Youth Building a Future works to support children and adolescents from Israel’s social and geographic periphery, enabling them to grow, reach their full personal potential, and become independent, engaged individuals with a strong sense of self-worth and belonging.

Negba provides children and youth with a supportive educational and social framework that combines emotional guidance, academic support, life skills development, and exposure to new fields of knowledge—based on a holistic approach that views the child, their family, and the community as a whole.

Negba’s work is carried out in close collaboration with education and social welfare systems, as well as with local authorities, as part of a comprehensive and long-term response to the needs of children and their families.

Who is behind Negba?

The Negba Association was founded in 2006 by immigrants from France, in partnership with a long-standing French educational and social organization, based on the belief that a strong link between education and social action is the key to creating lasting change in the lives of children, teenagers, and their families.

Today, Negba supports hundreds of children, adolescents, and young adults each year, and works in close cooperation with local authorities as well as education and social welfare stakeholders, while developing educational and social responses adapted to the evolving needs on the ground.
