Eliav Geissman

Married to Aviva and father of three.
Eliav immigrated to Israel from France in 2002 through the Na’ale program (Youth Aliyah before parents).

Eliav grew up in Paris in a Zionist family deeply involved in Jewish community life. “During that time, we were experiencing the Second Intifada, and I felt a powerful urge to move to Israel—to live in the present with my people in my country.” Eliav joined the first Na’ale cohort at Kiryat Noar in the 11th grade. “Looking back, I realize it was the softest landing I could have chosen upon arriving in Israel.”

In 2004, Eliav enlisted in the Paratroopers Brigade. “It was in the army that I truly understood the meaning of the ‘Ingathering of the Exiles’ and social involvement. We were soldiers, lifelong friends, brothers-in-arms from every political background, every corner of the world, and every walk of life. None of those differences stopped us from entering Lebanon together in 2006 as a single, cohesive unit.” After completing his service and working in security abroad, Eliav guided and later managed the Na’ale France program at the Ben Shemen Youth Village for five years, while simultaneously earning a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Ariel University.

In 2014, Eliav helped establish the Na’ale France program at the Hadassim Youth Village. A year later, he was chosen for a three-year mission in France on behalf of the Jewish Agency.

Since 2018, Eliav has held key management positions at the “Negba – Network for Education of Children and Youth at Risk” association.
